During the Geneva Motor Show 2012 Honda preview unveiled the prototype of the new Honda CR-V which will be destined to the European market. This is the fourth generation of Suv produced by the Japanese automaker and which will arrive on the market in October. The Honda CR-V 2012 anticipates the new style Japanese brand.
Compared to the previous generation, this new model has an image that appears to be much more aggressive, with more body lines and sculpted front that is now more massive. The vertical taillights, distinctive element of the previous series of the CR-V, were kept on this new generation. The fourth series of Japanese suv changes in the forms of the latter: it generally squared, a design that weighs down the car. We believe it is the most successful in terms of aesthetics. The total length, stops at 4 meters and 57 cm.
On the other hand, are forms that pay off for ease of loading, with a low threshold and a fairly regular conformation of the compartment. Grows also the availability of space, an increase of 147 liters which brings the total to 586 in traditional configuration. A figure which grows up to 1669 litres if you remove the rear seats.
For what concerns the different engines available the suv assembled the units already known on the current series, albeit with major innovations: over all, the stop & start system as standard. The launch, on our market Honda CR-V will be presented with a two litre petrol sucked by 155 horsepower, alternatively with four-wheel drive or front only, while the diesel will be covered initially by 2.2 liters with 150 horses, only offered with four-wheel drive. The 6-speed manual transmissions will be or, Alternatively, automatic 5 reports. Will arrive during 2013 the 1.6-litre turbodiesel, small to debut on Honda Civic in December 2012: 120 horsepower and will develop only with front-wheel drive.
